A motivational video to make you think
August 28th, 2009 by admin
This video sure did remind me of my why’s in life.
Even if times get tough, even if life is tough on you, if you wake up the next morning, then life and times aren’t tough enough to hold you down.
Know your dream within your heart, no matter what it is, even if others or your own thinking says you can’t do it, change your thinking now and do what your heart is telling you.
Onofrio!

Today, I’m here at my friend Onofrio’s place, discussing the details of an upcoming secret project =)
Onofrio is a well known guitarist in the Toronto area. His style is breathtaking and very spiritual. I’m very excited about working with him.
More to come, stay tuned!
New Music Video: Albion Pond
August 24th, 2009 by admin
I finally got it uploaded to Youtube. I was able to get all the footage recorded while at an Amusement Park called “The Big Apple” in Colborne, Ontario. I decided to take video shots over there since it had a beautiful pond. Plus the surroundings were big enough to move around in.
So you’ve had a stressful day at work, or you’ve been through some rough times with friends (or people who have decided to walk out of your life) and you feel like you need to get away from it all. What better way to relax than to go straight into nature’s realm and let your spirit soar.
Is Social Networking freezing your own projects?
August 23rd, 2009 by admin
I love online Social Networking, I think it’s great. In the past four years, I’ve reconnected with old friends through Facebook, sent traffic to my websites from Twitter, made new friends and collaborated with clientelle.
There’s also another face to this Social Networking phenomenon. It’s what it is – Social. The plain truth is that you will come face to face with all types of characters, a mix of positive and negative. Frankly, it’s a good idea to proceed with caution and know that you’re going to have to focus on finding the flowers among the weeds.
Healing after the death of a loved one
August 19th, 2009 by admin
Many years ago (over a decade) I heard the news that my cousin Rommel (formerly Ronquillo, now a Mirasol) had died from being hit by a car. I was only 14 years old. When I saw his body in a casket at his funeral wake, I was completely burdened with emotion and tears. Rommel and I used to be like buddies, because we were both the eldest in our families.
The thought of him being buried, while I was still in high school, bothered me for many weeks. There are stories of people, many people, who live in denial for a long time over the death of a loved one. Once exam time came around, there was no time to even think about someone’s death.
Reunited with friends from the past

What a surprise Chyrell and I had tonight. We decided to get ourselves some food around College and Yonge street. Just junk food for tonight.
Chyrell started for the washroom as we were ready to head for home. While waiting for Chy, a lady called out my name from behind me. The face looked more and more familiar to me as she got closer. It was my old friend, Tita Nora Madlangbayan! The last time I had connected with her was in 1996! We gave each other big hugs and kisses.
Funeral Pianist
August 18th, 2009 by admin
I just finished a playing for funeral mass just about 30 minutes ago. Unlike my last one, I came in a little more confident. Father Beltran was very helpful in explaining the sequence. Thankfully, the mass went well even though it was a very sad occassion.
it also looks like I’ll be the go-to guy for weekday funerals since I work from home nowadays. It’s a little surreal though, because I personally feel different knowing that the gig is a funeral.
Blackberry Publishing Coolness!
August 18th, 2009 by admin
I’m writing this post from my Blackberry, so if you’re reading this, then it’s working!
I can finally update my blog from anywhere in the world, as long as I’m using my blackberry to post it. Gone are the days when we all had to update our websites from home. Now, pretty much, everything gets more and more easier.
Even better, there’s no need to bring my laptop anywhere or go to an Internet Cafe just to update my blog, post a picture, a video or a song. Just a trusty mobile device.
Making Waves Festival 2009 – What a Party!
August 17th, 2009 by admin

It’s already a day after the Filipino Making Waves Festival weekend and boy was it totally exciting! It was quite a party and we had lots of fun.
This year, I decided to take a break from performing and wanted to help in making this year’s festival fun, happy and totally great. I was offered the Stage Director role, which was a huge job but a totally rewarding one. My goal, at least for the entertainment side, was to make it a Party!
New song: Albion Pond – a personal favorite
August 13th, 2009 by admin
This is one song that I’ve always loved composing. It strikes a feeling of memories in me whenever I hear it. Memories of Albion Hills, when my Grade 6 class back in 1986 when on a week long school trip. I had many wonderful moments there. I learned to draw blue jays, camp out, etc.
What I couldn’t do back then was play the Piano. Mr. Bruce Daley, our Grade 6 teacher, sat at the facility’s Grand Piano everyday and hammered out some really cool music. Most of the girls in my class went straight to him and enjoyed his playing. I liked how that was happening, so I wanted to take lessons.
