Testimonials

My husband and I just listened to "Castaway", and I have to tell you that it is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life. It's ethereal! Excellent work, Rodney! I can't wait to buy the album.

Frequently Asked Questions

I've set up this section for you in case you have any questions and would like to know more about what I do, before making any hiring or purchases.

Q: What types of music do you play/write?
A: Although I can play most styles, the genres I specialize in are easy listening, light jazz and adult contemporary.

Q: Where do you mostly perform?
A: I'm based in Toronto, Canada, although I've performed in Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada), California, Chicago, Windsor (Ontario, Canada) so location is not a problem as long as it is a serious inquiry.

In terms of venue or event, I've peformed for weddings, concerts, small restaurants, cafes, corporate events outdoor festivals, charitable events, just to name a few.

Q: I need a producer for my cd/album. Can you do this for me and how much do you charge?
A: I currently produce work with my close connections since i have a good working relationship with them. Unless the inquiry is a serious one, I'm not available for any production projects for solicitations.

Q: I need a piano player and vocalist for my upcoming wedding/event. Do you still do this and how much do you charge?
A: At the moment, you can book a gig with me through my website. I'm currently in the process of putting together a new service called chyrodmusic.com, which you can hire me and my singing partner, Chyrell Samson, to help you make your special event a memorable one.

Q: When will you be coming out with your next CD?
A: Everyone in life goes through a tough stretch and I am no exception. I am currently working on my cd and have been stretching the deadline here and there. I have already set a deadline in stone for July 2008, as I am also planning my second "Rodney and Friends" concert. Stay tuned for more details.

Q: Do you compose and arrange music for Independent Video and Film?
A: Absolutely. This is also one of my passions as I am a videographer myself. In fact, I'm also in the process of setting up my video-film music scoring business. If you are an Film/Video maker and are looking into music for your production, just contact me through my website and we will arrange something.
